Children of more distantly related cousins have less risk of these disorders, though still higher than the average population.
It might help to think about how you can sustain this relationship if you plan to take it ahead. Love is not the only thing in life, though it is a very important thing. Having said all of this, I would like to suggest that you give yourself some more time to think well about your decision.
If it's only a crush, it would not be incest. Acting on that crush could be incest, but opinions on cousin-to-cousin relations vary by culture. In most jurisdictions it is not illegal for cousins to have sexual relations, although societal mores may not permit it.
Do fun activities together. Spending and having a good time together at different activities helps not only build your relationship, but also trust. Making your cousin laugh or laughing at something funny they do will help get them to like you.
