110 lb cardstock is almost twice the weight of 65 lb cardstock, with 130 lb cardstock being the heaviest (as far as I know) so if you want the heavier of the two, go for the 110 lb cardstock instead of the 65 lb cardstock.

Generally, home printers are able to handle 80-pound or 10-point cardstock – any thicker, and the paper may jam. Coatings are added to many kinds of cardstock to give the paper a glossy, polished appearance. (Think of business cards, which are often printed on slightly shiny cardstock.)
A popular weight range for folding invitation cards is between 65lb-100lb cover. Layered invitation cards or those inside of invitation pockets and wraps can be made with a variety of weights, but we recommend keeping these rules in mind. Keep your invitation top layer light (80lb cover and under).

If you're having trouble cutting all the way through your cardstock, you may need to choose different materials settings. The first thing to try is to increase the cut pressure. For example, you may need to switch from Light Cardstock to Medium Cardstock. Or, you can select the More Pressure option on the Make Screen.
Make sure you are using the double-cut or multi-cut 2x (Cricut Maker) setting for ALL papers greater than 80 lb. For intricate cuts, the Intricate Cut setting is recommended by Cricut. These settings will cut each line twice. We do not recommend cutting papers greater than 80 lb.
For the Cricut Maker, the thickest material the device can cut is 2.4 mm thick, giving you a greater range of options to choose from.

Therefore, solid core cardstock is best for Cricut projects, as it is dyed the same color all the way through. If you are in a tight spot, and you only have white core cardstock on hand, you can use an ink pad or marker to make the white edge less visible.
Typically somewhere around the 80 lb. mark makes a good thick cardstock for Cricut because it is not too thick or thin- it is just right. If you were to buy the Cricut brand cardstock it is 80 lb. which should tell you right there that it is the ideal cardstock weight.
