Should I let my 13-year-old watch it?
Great film, but not for kids under 13
I recommend this film to everyone who loves slightly disturbing films and TV shows like me but for anyone under the age of 13 you really should not watch it. It's very gory and contains adult language.

Case in point, Us is a new age horror film that stays to the genre's roots, meaning that this will not be suitable for kids. It's also rated R. So, if you have plans to see Us, make sure to find a babysitter and keep the little ones at home for this one.

In my opinion, 15 y/o+ is a good age requirement for this book. I enjoyed it very much. I look forward to books just alike.

Dark is Dark
Not for viewers under the age 18. It is rated MA, so yes the audience should be mature, ie. have some serious life experience, before digesting this Dark series.
I suggest 16+ to watch.
Is 13th appropriate for high school?
I think this movie is perfect for high school students. It's probably a bit much for Freshman but totally appropriate for Sophomores and up. This movie tackles subjects that aren't typically covered in our high school history books.

There were “F” bombs all throughout the show. I don't mind some bad words here and there to be honest, but in this show it's way overdone in my opinion. There is also violence and some sexual situations. I know kids will say they are exposed to it all, but I personally don't think this show is for anyone under 18.

Is 13 Year Old appropriate?
For young adults who enjoy a dark twisted story, I highly recommend this dark psychological drama. For those under 18 or squeamish of sex and violence however, this would be one to skip.
Many of the episodes are quite depressing. Depression is addressed in the show, along with panic attacks, in a respectful way. Absolutely not for children or young teens.
